Kasie West I became a writer because there was a story I wanted to tell. I had thought of an idea and I wanted to write it. Then once I wrote it, I loved the process so much that even though that book didn't turn out great, I decided to keep trying. So many books and authors influenced my writing, but two I can think of that I read early on and really helped me were Sarah Dessen and Ann Brashares. I love their books before I started to write (and still love them) and they were a big influence for me.

Hi Kaisie, just wondering if By Your Side will be released on kindle in the UK and if yes when? I prefer to be able to take my entire book collection wherever I go and as such I'm waiting for a kindle version but if it's not meant to be I'll go ahead and order the paperback. Really enjoyed all of your books by the way, thanks for helping keep me entertained!
