Out of all the books you have written so far which is your favorite or which are you most proud of for writing??

Brian Katcher Well, your first child is always your favorite (at least that's what I tell my younger sister), so PLAYING WITH MATCHES will always have a spot in my heart. As for being proud, I think that would be ALMOST PERFECT. I'm still surprised by the number of readers who wrote me to say that book helped them. Thanks for asking!

Hi Brian! Out of curiosity, did you know that most trans people find the word "transgendered" to be very offensive, and that no trans person would come out by saying "I'm actually [gender assigned at birth]"? I wanted so much to love Almost Perfect, but that problematic language made it so hard.
