SparksofEmber They are both 15. The book never clearly states their age, it just says that the schoolmaster only kidnaps students between the age of 12-16. We know that Sophie was too young to be taken 4 years earlier, so that only tells us she could be anywhere between 12-16. But book 3 mentions they are 16 and fans have figured out the timeline to deduce they are 15 in book 1.
Dakota Malin Agatha's age is yet to be confirmed, and is subject to a lot of speculation. In a deleted chapter in the first book, Soman Chainani states that all the Readers that got kidnapped were age 15. Sophie and Agatha are twin sisters, and thus share the same age and birthday.
Alexandra Casanova I would like to point out that they are not twin sisters I've read the 1st book front to back have have read the others online they aren't twins but do share the same day and even in the movie they are not twin sisters they are just really close friends
Genie ✨ About 12, 11 and later in the series into their 13's
Dahlia It's actually 12-14 not 12-16
But they go to the school for good and evil until they are 18
Kendra I'd say they're around 13 years old, based on the hints dropped throughout the series.
Roj Curaming They are both 12 years old
