While I agree with Ruth's description- I am going farther by calling the behavior what it is: elder abuse. I felt truly awful reading the parts with the son &, especially given current events (August, 2017) I really need to read something uplifting. The movie with Jane Fonda & Robert Redford will be out next month (according to IMDB) and I won't be seeing it. (less)
