I just finished reading Neverseen and it was AMAZING!!!! though I hate the fact that I have to wait ANOTHER YEAR (!!!) for book 5 to come out, I was just wondering how do plan out all the details/know how everything is going to plan out? like leaving subtle hints. Ex. with Forkle, if we looked close enough we could guess his real identity. How do you know how to leave those hints? Also, r u a fan of Doctor Who? :)

(view spoiler)[Yay for loving NEVERSEEN!!!
As for your question, part of it comes down to knowing the things ahead of time (you can't plan for things you don't know, right?) After that, it takes thought and planning, deciding when you want to leave hints and how strong you want that hint to be (meaning do you want it to be noticeable enough that some people might catch it, as I did with certain Forkle clues, or do you want it to be so subtle that it will only make sense after the reveal, as I've done with other things that haven't been revealed yet) It also takes practice and revision.
And yep, I'm a HUGE Doctor Who fan. Hence why I've slipped tiny references into some of the books. :) (hide spoiler)]
