NFLS asked Linda Kage:

dear Linda, I just finished reading The Color of Grace. This is actually a backward step for me since I have read all your more recent books. The book was a surprising one from me because I consider it as a clean romance - a huge difference from others. I have 2 questions: 1) Why you change your genre?; 2) Will you one day write another high school, clean romance book? Thank you.

Linda Kage Hey, there! Thanks so much for writing...and reading The Color of Grace! That's one of my favorites! I've always altered between sensualities levels pretty much from the beginning. I went from The Stillburrow Crush (a YA clean read with no swearing or anything beyond kissing) to The Trouble with Tomboys, my second book (where the couple gets it on in, like chapter three or four, or something!). I just love reading romance stories at any level. I even have a little guide on the right hand side of my website that tells you the estimated heat rating of all my books, for people who prefer their stories a certain way. With the onset of the Forgidden Men series, most thing lately have been on the steamier side, but I definitely have plans for more clean read and young adult stories once I'm past that series...or maybe before I finish it! Who knows which way the wind will blow me next!
