what was going on in your life, what were you doing when you were writing Jonathan livingston seagull?
Richard Bach
I was struggling to survive as a writer. I had some jobs then. I was a draftsman at a boat-building company, I delivered telephone books, I was a letter carrier at the post office. I believed, though, that one way or another I would be a writer. Lots of little coincidences, little miracles, and sure enough, that happened.

As a young adult, Jonathan Livingston Seagull had a tremendous impact on my life. To sense what it felt like to be outside of the box. The remembrance of the feeling it gave me that we all have talents. If ahead of evolution or fad, use your self-motivation and strive for your dreams. Fly above the clouds. What about Illusions, was it your personal story or imagination?

I always wanted to thank you, Richard, for having written “One” and “Illusions”. Those were books that saved my life in an ominous past. I was lost in a stream of nonsense, and those books kept me afloat. What's your vision about those two books now that have passes so many years since you wrote them?

Dear Mr. Bach, I'm a little hesitant asking this over the web but would like to know if you had any advice: How does one find their current again? I lost mine and can't quite seem to adapt to the new one. It's not all bad, but I can't make it work, and perhaps it's normal of a writer, but I feel so lost. Do I winnow it out? Sincerely, LT
