S.J. Kincaid Hi Lydia! Tom unleashed the virus on Medusa so Vengerov would know she was crippled. Then Tom destroyed the sky boards afterwards-- all so Vengerov would know for certain that Medusa wasn't the Ghost in the Machine. Basically, the whole purpose of the virus was to remove any suspicion about Medusa.
