For this book, I had a lot of different topics to cover - recovering from an attack, EMDR therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, gun ownership, criminal defense system and race so there was always something that interested and inspired me.
One of the best compliments I received was that my book was educational while entertaining. I wrote it to be a fun beach read…but always pictured the characters in a movie!
