Also, if Leah was illegitimate and not an earl's daughter, surely her so-called father would've informed her rather than simply manipulate her into eloping so that he won't have to pay her dowry. Did Darius and Trent always knew the truth or only the earl did? Why couldn't her mother have told her the truth before she died? Will their sister Emily ever get her own story, or know the truth about her half-sister?

Doris... Here's the thing: They didn't have DNA testing, so Wilton would not know for sure who's child belonged to whom. If he said Leah was not his (assuming he had a way to know for sure), then he'd look like a lot less of a man. I don't know if even the countess knew the truth, since a prudent woman would have "covered her tracks" an at least created ambiguity. As for Emily and Mr. Benton... I think they'd make a nice Christmas story.

hi Grace, Hate to say, found another boo-boo in a different set of books? I think Lady Maggie says that she & Devlin joined the family a year or so apart - but in The Duke and His Duchess, it's the very same day!
Also, in The Soldier, Hadrian sya (or at least implies) that his older brother is dying - but I guess that's just to hide the truth which is revealed in his own book.
Looking forward to WILL!

Dear Grace, are all of the Windham cousins going to have their own stories, or are only Tony's daughters going to be featured? After all, Peter did have daughters as well. Are the contemporary novels going to feature any Windhams? Why is there a question mark for a couple of the relationships on the family trees of the Lonely Lords? Surely it can't be hard to determine whether they were legitimate or illegitimate.
