Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Susannah Fullerton I knew the 200th birthday of 'Pride and Prejudice' was coming up and felt there should be book celebrating this important literary anniversary. I suggested it to my publisher and he loved the idea, so I then began writing it - what a joy that was - spending months immersed in the wonderful world of Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. I had particular fun writing the chapter about the first sentence of the novel!
