This is a very good question too. For me writer's block is when I am stuck on where I am going with a story and where I want to take it. So when this happens I walk away from it for a few days then go back and read it. I also have another set of eyes look at it whether it is a fellow writer, or my husband then I also do the read aloud which always helps.
