So, why does everyone hate this book? I think it is amazing so far and I am prepared to read the other 3 books on the quartet. So, what, it is nearly nothing like the musical we know and love. But that does not make this book bad.

I don't know anything about the musical. Didn't see and don't want to. But this book is is just horrible. I am only finished because I am hoping that maybe, just maybe it will be worth it. That has happened before with other books. (less)
