I read it as a teenager and loved it, so I read it to my children when they were 3 and above and they all liked it. I read it again recently when I was considering it for my grandchildren and found new depths, although the Edwardian/Georgian sentimentality was slightly cloying. (You might want to skip it for younger children for a while if the whole pandemic silliness is still a thing.)(less)
