Hi Steven, Do the Virginia Mysteries need to be read in order? I saw that #3 is on sale for .99 at Amazon, but didn't know if I need to buy the other two first for my daughter. :-D Also, these are intended for middle school age, yes? They're not 'too young' or 'too old' for my 6th and 7th graders, in your opinion? Thank you!! Jules

Thanks for your question Jules. The books are all the same characters for the series, but each is a free-standing story so they can be read out of order. I generally say they are for the 7-12 age range, but particularly the later books I think would be fine for grades 6/7. Thanks for your interest!

Hi Steven! I'm a native Richmonder (now living in the eastern panhandle of WV) and my 7YO daughter and I are hooked on the Virginia Mysteries series. We're currently on book #5, Midnight at the Mansion and were wondering if you have any plans to continue the series beyond that? We're not ready for it to end!
