Mariam Naeem
Mariam Naeem asked Darren Shan:

Do you plot your stories, or do the facts come to you when you're writing?

Darren Shan It's a mix of both. I know a certain amount when I start, and find out more as I go along.

Amber Lynn
Amber Lynn asked Darren Shan:

What part of the Cirque Du Freak series did you made you feel sad the most? For me, it would be that Darren had to give up his humanity and then Kurda Smahlt's death ): Even in death, may Kurda Smahlt be triumphant (:

A Goodreads user asked Darren Shan:

Good day, I absolutely love your books. However, I was wondering why you made Juni Swan, dervish's lover, kiss Grubbs in Blood Beast (The Demonata #5)?

A Goodreads user
A Goodreads user asked Darren Shan:

How did you feel when you killed Kurda? I remember crying. He was one of my favorite vampires in the whole series. And what about Darren? How could you make yourself kill him off? He was soo amazing! - BTW; I loved the conclusion to the series either way, thank you for your work.
