Ha--my "opinion on purple" sounds so...official. And it makes me wish I had a more interesting answer than, "I am a fan of the color."
As for your questions, um...the first one is really hard to answer. It's an equal mix of awesome and AHHH SO MANY DEADLINES. :) And I got my first book published after I spent years writing and writing and writing to get it as good as I can get it. There were some steps after that, but I feel like if I talk about them that's all anyone ever focuses on, and the important part is focusing on writing. Then google how to get published.
