Goodreads asked Adam Gainer:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Adam Gainer The best thing about being a writer is being able to escape to another world inside of the fiction you've created yourself. The better part of that, is when other people immerse themselves into that same place. Reactions are much more important to me than even doing the work. When people are satisfied after reading one of my books or when a reader tells me they loved certain characters, that's what really gives me a thrill. I'm a people-pleaser, and I bring that into my writing as well. I love to make people feel, and think when I write and not just bring them entertainment.

So...all In all... I guess I could say that I love to write because of the work, but the best thing of all is seeing excitement, or being told by a reader about how much they loved a book. That really makes it all worth it.
