Goodreads asked Christoph Fromm:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Christoph Fromm I work out, mostly tai chi, but also cycling and fly fishing. Nothing inspires me as much, nothing gives me as much freedom as spending time within nature, espescially while hunting fish. Writing and hunting have a lot in common. You sneak up to your next story, you watch, stalk and circle your idea. Any wrong thought could frighten it away, but you keep up with it, you pursue it with patience and persistance.

Often your first ideas will be bad, but they are necessary. Sometimes they might even turn into your best ideas. You have to allow yourself to make mistakes, that’s the fastest way to disperse writer’s blocks.
