Lauren asked Rick Riordan:

Random question, but what are your favorite books on Greek/Roman mythology, as well as Norse and Egyptian? I have struggled to find good ones on Norse and Egyptian ones, so I have wondered what you like. Also, what about Daughter of the Deep? Would you think it is okay to read 10,000 Leaures Under The Sea as a 14-year-old?

Rick Riordan It is difficult to find good Norse and Egyptian books sometimes, yes. D'Aulaire's Book of Norse Mythology is a good place to start. I also like The Complete Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt. Daughter of the Deep was meant to be a standalone, so no immediate plans to continue it. As for 20,000 Leagues, well, it's from the 19th C., so you'd have to try it and see if it works for you!
