So, now that you're getting ready to wrap up The Burning World, I'm very curious about what's next for you. Do you have any projects on the table for after this is completed?

Oh, so many! My first project will be a goddamn vacation, because I've been working on this series almost literally non-stop for going on 4 years and I need to remember how to live. After that, I'm going to work on some lighter projects for a while, short stories and music. I want to record a new album (my last one was in 2007) and write enough stories to release a collection, which I'm pretty close to already. After all that, when my brain has recuperated from the trials of the Zombie Age, I'll tackle one of the three novels that have been marinating in my mind for several years. Not sure which one I'll tackle first, but all three are very weird and involve absolutely no Halloween monsters.

??not a question?? Just wanted to say I am a fan of your work. You made zombies truly inspiring and intriguing to read about. Your use of words is beautifully put together and I really treasure Warm Bodies... it's a book I will never forget and it will always be on my shelf waiting to be read again and again. :)
