I find something that inspires my writing urge again, be it another book, a movie, a walk, an adventure, a person, or another writing project. Or I approach my story from a different angle: from the end, another character's perspective, a romance scene, a what-if scenario, ect. If the way ahead is blocked, then why not jump ahead and work your way back?
Goodreads groups are good, too, because you talk with other authors and readers about what you love and why you love writing about it. Before you know it, you'll be eager to resume where you left off.
