Make sure you are thorough in your research. My novel contains a wide variety of topics and locations: Buenos Aires, tango dancing, Argentine food and wine. Nico is a Kundalini Yoga guru and initiated shaman in the Q'ero tribe of Peru so there are yoga exercises, and ceremonies that required extensive research. My advice is write much more than you need in the scene and edit afterwards.
