Megan Absolutely not! One of the many reasons why this book is so great it that it has no out right swearing, for instance it may say “she let out a string of curses” rather than just cussing. There are also no explicit scenes, although sex is implied once or twice throughout the series it's nothing graphic, as this is a young adult fiction book. This is my absolute favorite book and I urge you to read it!
Eveline There is no cussing throughout the entirety of the series. In the first two books as mentioned previously sex is implied, and as the series goes on there are more sex scenes that are detailed.
issamarmar In the beginning of the series it plays off as what Meagan had said but as it goes on it gets pretty graphic with sex and cussing.
Im_a_narwhal I agree with Megan, sex is implied, and technically, so is the cussing "she let out a string of curses" I mean, knowing this series, 'curses' could be a string of magical enchantments used to harm other people.

However, there are a few instances where a character says sh*t, crap, or b*tch, so yeah.
