Hi! Did you always know The Magicians books were going to form a trilogy? Did it feel important to follow that kind of classical structure?

Lev Grossman When I was writing The Magicians I wasn't thinking about a trilogy. I was at one of those low points in my life when it's hard to make plans for the future. I wasn't expecting to get one book published, let alone three.
