Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ben Westerham With Good Investigations, and the David Good PI series as a whole, I wanted to produce something that combined an element of the hard boiled with a healthy serving of humour and to have it set in London. Socially and economically, the 1980s were years of great change and, therefore, looked to provide plenty of opportunity for a writer. You'll also notice that the David Good books revolve very heavily around relationships, rather than being straightforward crime stories.
