I teach in a rural school in Australia where it is hard to get children to read......but they requested the library bought your books for them and they read them. Keep getting kids reading it's a wonderful gift. How do you come up with ideas which will grab teens attention?

I'm glad to hear that I'm a hit in your library!! :-) I never think about an audience when I write. Instead, I try to remember what I was like as a teenager, and write books that I think I would have enjoyed reading back then. I always say to young writers, don't worry about impressing other people. Write for yourself, stories that YOU are interested in, and then take things from there.
