Is this a book that would be appropriate for a ten year old girl? She's read Harry Potter and she's a pretty advanced reader. I'm not worried about her having a hard time understanding the book. I'm just worried that there will something in there that isn't appropriate for her to read about.

There is nothing too graphic inside and in the situations that are a bit more brutal it isn't displayed as a bloodbath or written in a gorely fashion. I'm sure a 10 year old, especially if you say she's advanced, would be fine with it. You could pre-read it if you wanted t.
