As for an allergy to electricity -- can you imagine how different our daily lives would be without it? We tend to see it as essential, but for most of mankind's history, electricity wasn't a factor!
As for Moritz and his eyelessness -- I think going that direction had a lot to do with considering how often we assume others see the world the same way we do, when it's hardly ever the case. It's a very literal interpretation.

Sorry to bother again but do you have any particular references/pictures for Moritz and Ollie's character design? My friends and I have made concept arts but we can't choose one haha and we really wanna get the cosplays done for Anime Detour (Its more of a giant mixing bowl of books games and anime and shows).
