One of the things I love most about your books is the fantastic vocabulary used to paint the scenes into reality. Have you always had a love for fancy words, or is it something that you became interested in after becoming an author? :)

Julie Klassen Hi, Anna! Thanks for your question. As a reader from an early age, I have always loved interesting words. Certainly all the reading and researching I do helps me find charming, amusing words that lend a period air to my books. I also enjoy studying the etymology of words, to make sure they were used in the Regency period and to find out if they had a similar meaning back then. I'm so glad you enjoy the vocabulary of my books. I do call myself a word nerd! :)
