Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

C.C. MacKenzie During treatment for breast cancer, I met twins. Gorgeous girls who were twenty-two years old. One of them was dying and they'd just learned that both carried BRACA1/2 cancer genes. The twin who was cancer free was about to have a preventative double mastectomy since her chance of having breast cancer was 97%. A no brainer. Their incredible courage truly inspired me to write a story about twins who had the faulty gene. It's a romance, so there is a happy ever after. In real life there is a happy ever after, too. Because the twin who was terminal is still alive and her sister has just given birth to..... twins!!!! All proceeds of this book will go to Cancer Research.
