I adhere to the James Patterson method of typing "TBD" whenever the going gets tough and then moving on to the next scene. If that doesn't work I go back and start reading and editing to get back into the pace and feel of the book. If THAT doesn't work I step away from the computer and go get some fresh air or an adult beverage.
