¿Would you say you are getting better at your craft? Goodreads score on your newest books seem to say so.

Mark Lawrence The more books you have out the better the GR scores tend to be. By now a lot of people think they know what to expect from me, and so if they didn't like an earlier book they won't buy a new one, and when you only get ratings from people who already like your work ... you tend to score better.

It's possible I'm getting better - but equally possible I'm getting worse :)

Hey Mark, I was wondering about the summaries of earlier events of the series that you write in your books. Is this something difficult to do, or tedious or for some other reason unpleasant? I'm trying to understand why so few other authors do that. It's such a simple, yet great thing. I cannot express how lost I sometimes feel when an author demands that I remember everything in detail after a year (or 3 or 5)...
