Emily Mills
Emily Mills asked David Estes:

What advice would you give to a comedy poet?

David Estes Well, I don't know much about comedy poetry, but I do incorporate a lot of humor into my writing. For any writer, however, my biggest piece of advice is to write every day. Your writing doesn't have to be perfect every day, but it gives you a chance to learn, to improve, and to find inspiration in the unlikeliest of places. And when you're in the "writing zone," take advantage of it and write as much as you can! Best of luck :)
