I devoured With a Twist in one day when I found it, and have suggested it to countless friends since. I'm so excited for Chaser! I just picked it up and I can't wait to dive into it this weekend. Where did your inspiration for With a Twist come from?

Staci Hart I knew I wanted to write an interconnected comedy series, and all of my books take place in New York, so the setting was an easy choice. I came up with Lily and Rose first -- the two of them are like shades of myself, the ballerina and the bartender, the optimist and the cynic -- then West and Tricky, then Astrid and Cooper. I really wanted to write about the ballet, and I'm so glad I did -- I am 100% obsessed with it now.

So, the short answer is that it grew from a small idea of writing about a group of friends trying to find love in New York. Once I even had a small glimpse of the characters, everything clicked into place!
