They suffer because of their OWN parents, and it easily could be…moreI think the author want´s to show us, that there are so many victims of sexual abuse. They suffer because of their OWN parents, and it easily could be possible to not notice, that maybe someone you know goes through this.
She wants us to realize how awful the humanity can be, and to keep our eyes open - to help when we notice smth!
(thats my personal opinion - I hope this makes any sense lol)(less)
