asked:
What other stand-alone novels by Cornwell do you recommend? I´ve only read Sea Lord and now I´m reading Stormchild and I quite like them. Does he have anything else which is not part of his historicals? Thanks.

Mr Cornwell has such an enviable history of writing novels, mostly based on factual history making the selection of his books very easy. My favourites include the 'Sharp' novels but his 'Lords of the North' series are very worth considering as is the stand-alone book entitled "Waterloo".
