Just go for it. It's unlikely that your first effort will be everything you want it to be, so read advice on writing and apply it to your work, refining and improving. Get trusted friends and family to give honest feedback, and don't be offended if it's not all good. Listen, and then go back and try to improve what you've written. And then just keep going!
