How do you deal with writer’s block?

AshleyNicole It took me 6 years to complete my first novel that will be publushed. I started off writing and had a million ideas and then writers block hit me really hard. I would literally go back and reread the story every week, trying to jog some kind of new inspiration. In the end, (6 years later), I just decided to take 30 mins a day and dedicate it to the characters. So every day I would sit down and write notes or reread, until I finally got over the block.
