Just discovered your writing and I have to say, I'm captivated by what you are able to accomplish in your short stories; the range of emotions and intricate relationships between your characters. Aside from Roald Dahl, which writers do you most admire and what traits do they engender that you find have the biggest impact on your own writing?

I'll be honest. I very rarely read anything. I don't have the time for it. I would sooner be writing! I love Dahl and no one else has come close to that for me, although I do enjoy life writing of Spike Milligan.

Sometimes your books really make me think when I can relate to the protagonist/anti-hero. For example, I've just red "For the Animals" and completely agreed with this plans. I obviously can't condone torture, but when anybody hurts an animal I think whatever it was they did should come back at them x 3. Have you seen the documentary "Earthlings"? Do you ever agree with the questionable viewpoints of your characters?
