How do you get inspired to write?

Kat Barrett My latest book or maybe books are inspired by a multi player game I'm now playing. It makes for interesting ideas to see the interaction with people I have never really met. One of my friends on the game recently died and it was a shock to see how much his death affected me. I've written books due to dreams, a glimpse of something I see that gives me an idea or maybe even an interesting name that inspires me to create that person. I have fun with it.
