The movie was supposed to convey a similar feeling (at the end) as the book; however, there are so many details condensed or left out that much of the awe is left behind. If you were impressed w/the movie, the book is a MUST (or read Louie's Devil At My Heels).

Yes, yes. I saw the movie when it came out, just read the book, and now want to see the movie again. The book covers so much more than the movie has time for.
