Hannah asked:

What ages would people say this book is recommended for?

Neesi I would say Adult, maybe Young Adult for the right teenager. If the teen is traumatized by a troubled marriage on the part of their parents, I would not recommend they read this book.
Jayant It's sad in an unexpected way, basically, it can be a little too "truthful", by which I mean it discusses the real struggles behind people lives, and the truth with sadness can be a little too much at times.
Annie Its a bit obscure and very sad, there is nothing wrong or "adult" about it but I wouldn't recommend it to a teenager.
Patti I would not recommend this book to a young adult. Although it is written from a young adults point of view, I feel some of the subject matter is for adults.
Marzipan This is a childish book, mature minds would be irked by it. I would say around 11 years, if (s)he is mature enough to take on affairs and general heavy heartedness.
