Horror for Newbies

I'm 60 pages into Fates and Furies and not sure if I want to continue. The voice is very unappealing. (I loved Arcadia.) Should I stick with it???

Interesting thing is that the dialogue is actually okay - but the narrative voice is making me crazy, tired and just worn out. (less)
