This is probably of no use to you now, but I always like to find out the age group before reading to make sure it is appropriate – and I'm sure others do, too. I read this in 4th grade and I found the writing fairly easy to understand and comprehend so I would say it's intended for 3th-5th graders.

It also depends on the maturity and advancedness of the reader, in my opinion. Hope this helps others!(less)
