Do you think the Dune Encyclopedia will ever be reprinted for nostalgic fans of the books?

Brian Herbert I don’t know. The Dune Encyclopedia is an alternate Dune universe with an alternate timeline, and does not follow the Dune canon that was laid out in six Dune-series novels by Frank Herbert, and in twelve more novels that I wrote with Kevin J. Anderson. Kevin and I wrote one more Dune series novel that is also an alternate Dune universe (different from The Dune Encyclopedia, and different from the Dune canon). This is “Spice Planet,” published in THE ROAD TO DUNE. It is based on an outline by Frank Herbert, and was an early version of Dune, which he then abandoned, before writing the version of the great classic that is so beloved by all of us.
