Both Christmas at the Vicarage and the book I'm currently working on were inspired by my parents and my upbringing in a rural Vicarage. I think there's a general image of vicars being rather stuffy and boring, but my Dad was the very opposite and it's good to be able to give a fresh perspective on Vicarage life.
