Katherine Reay Jennifer, I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. I'm thrilled you enjoyed DMK. Inspiration came from a variety of places -- classic literature, Daddy Long Legs and a personal injury that had me side-lined for several months and seeking comfort, like Sam, in some good stories.
