Goodreads asked Kelly Lucille:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kelly Lucille Walk away from the computer. Read someone else's book. Take a few days to breathe. If none of that works, I sit down and force myself to write 1000 words before I can stop for the day. Sometimes I hate what I wrote, and still when I reread the next day it is actually better than I thought. Sometimes I chuck the 1000 words and do it again. Eventually I get caught up in the story and it's all good. Just make sure you are writing something that hold your interest, otherwise you will get bored and never finish it.
