Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marie Piper I fell in love with Westerns when I was sixteen, thanks to a little-known CBS show called "The Magnificent Seven." From there, I was off and running dreaming up tales of gunslingers, cowboys, saloon girls, and all the tropes you'd expect. Only recently did I decide to try and make something of all those stories, and HAVEN'S FLAME (out 10/27/2015) is the result. It's the first book in my trilogy, FIRES OF CRICKET BEND, and sets the stage for the drama and passion to follow. It's been a long time coming, but I'm really excited to share my stories with the world.
